Position Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Department with a variety of marketing initiatives, including overall project management and tracking, social media engagement, content creation, constructing creative briefs, campaign execution, customer sentiment and brand development. This position will help drive marketing strategies and assist in implementing various marketing programs to establish the voice of the customer, enhance brand awareness, and generate leads. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, creative, possesses excellent communication skills and superb customer service. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in marketing while contributing to the company's overall success through effective marketing initiatives and brand building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help coordinate marketing campaigns across various channels (email, social, digital, etc.).
- Construct creative briefs for Service Experts in house creative and external agencies.
- Manage and track projects through to completion, communicating key deadlines and KPIs.
- Maintain and update organized file structures for creative assets.
- Monitor online reviews and mentions across platforms (e.g., Google My Business, Yelp, Facebook) to understand brand perception.
- Document incoming reviews and flag significantly negative feedback to management.
- Assist with maintaining a positive online presence by ensuring readily available content is accurate and engaging.
- Assist in evaluating social media and online review data for trends and basic insights.
- Maintain marketing calendar and ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives.
- Support the development and maintenance of internal tools, including credentials database, trackers, contact directory, and intranet.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including material preparation, and other duties as assigned.
- Build knowledge and education regularly through online workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices and local marketing tactics with team members.
- Escalate complex customer issues or complaints received through marketing channels to the appropriate department.
- Oversee and support initiatives aimed at enhancing the customer experience, including resolving customer inquiries, managing feedback, and proactive issue identification.
- Maintain accurate records, track performance metrics, and generate reports to monitor operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in special projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement and organizational success.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a relevant field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a marketing role with a focus on project management or customer insights / reputation management.
Essential Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and grammar.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and their management tools.
- Ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CMS (e.g., WordPress) and marketing automation tools a plus.
